Sports have always played a role in my life. They taught me commitment, passion, work ethic, time management, and how to work with others and be a leader! I have attended three leadership seminars, one of them being an athletic leadership conference.
My favorite sport most of all is football! I have been a starter since freshman year. I just love going out onto the field in the middle of fall, nice cold air, on a bright sunny day, and running down the field and hitting someone hard to the ground! My junior year, I had broken my shin, and without knowledge of it, continued into the next week's game as a starter.
I play Basketball for Blue Mtn. and have been on varsity since Sophomore year. I have always been told that I'm not a three point shooter, or have no range, but i won't listen. I practice whenever I have a ball, on my range! Whether it be from the freethrow corner, or outside the three. I will not let anyone hold me back from bettering myself.
I have been on Varsity baseball, by earning my spot, since Sophomore year. My freshman year I was asked to move up to varsity, and so I did! I have never really liked baseball, but once I got to high school and started playing for the infamous, Coach Blood, it has become one of my favorite sports to play. In my Freshman and Sophomore year, BMU boys baseball won the baseball championship, along with the girls in my Sophomore year
